HGV Training in Gloucestershire is a good place to train in and take a TEST. This is the first under 21 year old driver of HGV under the new rule.
The NEW LAW has now helped this Driver to PASS both his Theory,Driving Test and Pictured with his CPC certificate on 3/12/09 under 21. He can now Drive a Class C Rigid Vehicle. Once the Licence returns from Swansea he can then start Training on the Artic C+E.
The C+E Artic Class has the same gear box as the C Class Vehicle and cab layout so upgrading is not a large problem. The Trailer is 36 feet long two Axel on air suspension and has ABS fitted.
We find that this length of Trailer is well suited for town Driving and also on our Large Reversing Area when Practicing the Reverse manoeuvre for test.
This is our C1 vehicle used for the test, it has a max weight of 5.5 tonnes and is ideal for taking the driving test. Some Company's use a bigger one,but the test only requires a 4 tonne vehicle.
You need to make sure to have the PROVISIONAL D1 on your green paper part of your licence which was given free pre 1997.
If you do not have this entitlement then telephone us and we will send you the FORMS BY POST.
Here at PAUL WILLIAMS TRAINING SERVICES we have trained lots of young people to get their B+E licence.
If you passed your car test after 1997 you were only given a car plus small trailer licence.
